Pastor Lucretia (Lu) is a graduate of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL with a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Christian Education. She has done post-graduate work in religion, counseling, and adult education in Denver, CO and Madison, WI. While involved in post graduate course work, Pastor Lu has experienced serving as a Campus Minister at the University of Denver, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Madison, working as adjunct faculty for Garrett-Evangelical Seminary, and interning as a faith-based psychotherapist in Denver, CO and Madison, WI.

Lucretia is a native of Wisconsin, having grown up in Manitowoc. She has three sisters and a brother and their families all of whom live in Wisconsin.

Lucretia - who is named after her older sister's babysitter - is very comfortable being called "Lu" or "Pastor Lu." In her free time, she enjoys reading - with a current interest in fictional mysteries based on theological and religious themes, reality-based congregational resources related to family systems theory and church growth and change, and the Buddhist-Christian experience of deepening one's spirituality through mindfulness meditation.

Pastor Lucretia comments, "As one who is called by God to professional ministry, I believe my strengths are based in my love and care for all God's people. Parishioners describe me as compassionate, trustworthy, funny (as in sense of humor), an ordinary person and approachable. I am honored to be serving among you in ministry together."

Pastors in the United Methodist Church must have a 4 year college degree, three years of seminary, and serve 2 full years under a District Superintendent in a local church before they can become a full member and an ordained Elder in full standing.

Rev. Lucretia Fehrmann is the 33rd pastor of this congregation.
